The press accreditation application process for the Open de España presented by Madrid 2026 is now open.

All journalists wishing to apply for accreditation for the Open de España presented by Madrid 2026 may do so through the link at the bottom of this page, after first reading the general conditions described below.

The deadline for accreditation requests will be September 21, 2026.

GENERAL CONDITIONS

All requests sent from non-institutional email servers (such as Yahoo, Hotmail, Gmail, and similar) must be accompanied by an official letter from the media outlet for which the journalist will be working, demonstrating that they have recently been accredited at other DP World Tour tournaments. This letter must be sent to: comunicacion@golf-open.es. Failure to do so will result in the accreditation not being processed.

All requests from freelance journalists must also be accompanied by an official letter from the media outlet for which they will be working at the Open de España presented by Madrid 2026. This information must be sent to: comunicacion@golf-open.es

Given the high number of requests received in recent years from Spanish-language websites and blogs, these digital media outlets will also be required to send by email (comunicacion@golf-open.es)

a letter specifying the reason for requesting accreditation, the type of coverage that will be carried out at the Open de España presented by Madrid 2026, recent accreditations at other DP World Tour tournaments, basic web/blog traffic data, and the profile of the journalist who will cover the event. This information will be used to evaluate accreditation requests.

Submitting an application does not guarantee accreditation for the Open de España presented by Madrid 2026. All applicants will receive an email once the status of their accreditation has been updated.

Digital media outlets intending to carry out any type of recording inside the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid must send a request to: comunicacion@golf-open.es.

Please note that the use of cameras and video recordings by media outlets not authorized for this purpose will result in the withdrawal of accreditation.

Accreditations are strictly non-transferable and must be used only by the accredited person.

All communication with the tournament organization regarding the accreditation process will be carried out exclusively via email.
